Pulk wheels

In some circumstances, it can be necessary to attach wheels to a pulk in order to travel over terrain other than snow or ice. One of the main users of these wheels are the participants of the 6633 Arctic Ultra race where large proportions of the 350 mile race are covered on frozen roads. The pulk wheel system is designed as a twin axle (4 wheel) system which allows greatest stability of the pulk whilst hauling. Due to its design brief being principally for the 6633 competitors where Trail pulks are used, the wheels are sized to fit the Trail pulk. If, for some reason, you require a single axle (2 wheel) setup, or wish to use the wheels on an Expedition pulk, please get in touch as we may be able to help you.

Please note, that we advise using our standard pulk hauling shafts and arms with the wheels.

Included in a set of wheels:

• Wooden (Beech) laminated supports
• Nuts, bolts and washers for attachment.
