Aiguille are the original designers and manufacturers of canoe solid buoyancy blocks. These have revolutionised boat floatation/airbag protection in open boats. The first BFDs* were made in the late 1990s and many of this age are still giving good service to outdoor centres around the country. As the originators of this product we feel we have a good level of knowledge in our design and manufacture of it.

Aiguille are also unique as we make two different sizes of BFD’s to suit a range of popular open boats. So please take your time to select the correct type of boat floatation/airbag protection to ensure an optimum fit; please ring us to discuss if you are not sure.

Due to the large size but relatively lightweight nature of some of these products, delivery companies often apply additional surcharges.

In addition, certain areas — including the Scottish Highlands and Islands — may attract a remote location surcharge.

Because delivery costs can therefore vary considerably depending on both the products ordered and your postcode, we are unable to provide an accurate delivery cost online.

Please call us with details of your order and your postcode, and we will be happy to check the applicable delivery charges and provide you with a delivery quotation before you place your order.
