All the people we know who have these sacs love them. Ask them why and they will often fail to identify one specific feature, but try getting them to part with it! The original sack of this family was the “Haute Route”, designed principally for ourselves to go ski-touring, this solution continues to surprise everyone as we have discovered how well it performed for climbing and mountaineering. The Ice Fall was created for this specific climbing and mountaineering end use when the user has no need for the ski and shovel attachments. It still has the attachments for ice axes and retains the Haute Route shape to hug the body and give excellent freedom of movement yet keep the centre of gravity low.
