Ski Rescue Sledge

The Ski emergency rescue sled has been developed alongside some of our @brit_mt_guides friends. Weighing in at just 625g and packing down to about the size of a nalgene (standard measurement gauge) the sled, when combined with skis and rucksack/clothing as padding, creates a fairly comfortable and solid stretcher sled which allows a casualty to be transported off the hill. Although in no way as good as a full blown stretcher this emergency kit is ultralight and allows the guide (or other user) to effect a reasonably efficient rescue operation in a situation where airlift or other rescue is not available/possible.
