Delivery and guarantee

General

We are a small UK manufacturing company and all our products are made on site here in Cumbria. We do not hold large stocks and often your goods will be made to order. Please allow 28 days for production of standard items, bespoke items may take longer. Any postage options selected only dictate the postage service/time taken for delivery from dispatch.

All orders accepted by this company are subject to these terms and conditions of sale which supersede any previous terms and conditions. All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are only intended to give a general idea of the products; specifications may vary slightly.

Orders can be placed by telephone or the ordering system on this website. All items are subject to availability.

Delivery

Orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail, Parcelforce or courier to UK mainland destinations and UK offshore destinations (including Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly and Channel Islands).

All international destinations will be dispatched by Royal Mail or Parcelforce International.

Any claims for non-delivery or shortages must be made in writing within seven days of date of invoice.

NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER THIS PERIOD.

Returns

Claims will only be settled after the faulty goods have been returned with the nature of the fault clearly stated. Any goods returned incomplete i.e. packaging missing, accessories missing etc. will not be replaced or credited. Similarly any goods found to have been used will not be replaced or credited.

If an Aiguille product is made especially for you and/or modified to you own specifications or has optional features then it is a bespoke product and as such it cannot be returned or credited

Payment

Payment is by credit card with order by phone or website. We also accept payment by cash, cheque, BACS or international bank transfer (see Ordering & Delivery).

We reserve the right to refuse any credit card transactions.

International orders

PLEASE NOTE that as we will be sending goods to you outside of the UK we are normally able to zero-rate your order for VAT at the point of sale. We understand, however, that you, the buyer, will be responsible for any applicable local taxes, such as VAT, and/or import duties in your country.

Reservation of Title

The risk of the goods passes to the buyer upon delivery from the carrier but the TITLE in the goods remains vested in us and shall only pass from us to the buyer upon full payment made by the buyer of all sums due on whatsoever account or grounds to us.

Data Protection

Aiguille Alpine will never disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Any personal information you provide to us and from which you can be identified is stored securely and confidentially and is processed fairly and lawfully. “Cookies” are used on this site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping trolley once you have selected an item. Guarantee and repairs

In addition to your statutory rights, all Aiguille products have a life-time guarantee against faults in manufacture, subject to the limitations of normal wear tear and abuse. In the unlikely event of a fault items will be replaced or repaired free of charge. Items that have been damaged by accident, misuse or just old age we are also happy to repair, if this is at all possible. We will provide a quote for such items returned to us but please make sure that they are clean and rucksacks have been shaken empty.
